Story

THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE

On the 27th and 28th of September this year, 12 intrepid explorers, with little or no experience of walking, mountaineering or the great outdoors generally, will attempt to conquer the 'Three Peaks Challenge' all in the name of charity.

For those unfamiliar with the Three Peaks, this involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon), equating to a gruelling 40km hike.

The aim is to raise some serious money for Cancer Research UK, and to climb in memory of Barbara Williamson, Faye and Jen's mum who lost her short battle with cancer in March 2013. We are doing this challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK so that tangible progress can continue to to be made in the fight against cancer.

Please dig deep, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. This is a pretty brutal challenge, and the only solace we're seeking is that multiple Mars Bar consumption is encouraged……

Lots of love,

Three Peaks Team xxxx

(Faye, Jennie, Lauren, Lisa, Kate, Ollie, Anna, Emma, Mark, Mike, Alastair  and Sean)
