Story

I'm ditching the heels for walking boots and attempting to climb the 3 highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland in just 24 hours! That's a 2800m ascent!!

I know what most of you who know me well are thinking...

1) Someone will accidently on purpose push her over the edge of the mountain because she'll drive them mad with her moaning

2) Lauren ditching the make up and big hair for a head torch and walking sticks....hmmm unlikely!

Soo to make it a true challenge I vow to pay £1 every time I moan during the 24 hours (that could be expensive) and bring out the 'Lauren pose' and take photographic evidence of me at the top of each mountain....no matter how bad I look!

By doing the challenge I'm aiming to raise over £595 for an amazing charity, Alzheimer's Society. Over 750,000 people in the UK are living with dementia and the number is set to rise to over a million by 2025. Dementia can happen to anyone of us and there is currently no cure. Alzheimer's Society support people to live well with dementia today and fund research in to finding a cure for tomorrow.

Please sponsor me and help me to hit my fundraising target for such an important cause! If you want to find out more about Alzheimer's Society and dementia visit www.alzheimers.org.uk

Thank you :)
