Story
This is my fourth and final year participating in Bobcathon at Ohio University to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of Charities in Central Ohio. Bobcathon is usually a 12-hour dance marathon held on Ohio University's campus to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House, but due to COVID-19 we will be doing a 12K marathon of choice instead (biking, walking, running, etc.). For me, being a part of Bobcathon means making a change and helping to support others who are in need. This year is especially important because of the unexpected pandemic. The pandemic has obviously made a lot of things in life challenging, but it has also become more difficult to fundraise and get people involved in our event. The goal of the Ronald McDonald House is to provide families with a place to stay when their child is in the hospital. This means providing them with a room, food, and all the necessities they need when they are away from home. You can help make a difference in those families' lives by donating to my page! All donations go straight to the Ronald McDonald House and ensure that those families will continue to have the comfort and hospitality they need during these challenging times. Thank you for all your support!
