We provide support and information to those affected by endometriosis
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year is a big milestone for me - October marks 10 years since my endometriosis diagnosis. So I’m running two half marathons - just because one didn’t seem like enough of a challenge!
Sunday 14th October 2018 (the date of the Manchester half marathon) will mark exactly 5 months since my most recent endometriosis excision surgery. Getting back into running after surgery and a long break has been very tough and the thought of running 13.1 miles still seems impossible. During this surgery my adenomyosis diagnosis was confirmed - a diagnosis that means I will always live with a level of pain.
Sunday 4th November - the Tatton Half Marathon. Time to do something I’ve never done before. Recover from a half in 3 weeks to run another one.
Of course it’s all for a good cause. I’ll be running for Endometriosis UK. A charity that supports women just like myself who live day in and day out with Endometriosis.

Over 1.5 million in the UK have endometriosis and the impact of the disease is for some devastating, yet diagnosis takes on average 8 years. With your donations we are turning this around, raising awareness, providing support and information, supporting research, and campaigning for change.
