I was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease and suffered my first painful crisis at the age of 3. Growing up as a child and teenager with a horrific blood condition was very difficult. I want people to understand that the fear and pain that I experienced as growing up has made me the person I am today. The Sickle Cell Society has been a great support to me, my family and to sufferers and their families. l love  to laugh because I have something to be happy about. Laugh with me and help me to put a smile on many peoples faces by supporting this good cause. Thank you!
