Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page! As most of my close friends and family are already aware, i suffer from a rare form of diabetes. MIDD only affects around 1% of diabetics in the world today, i am one of those. MIDD stands for maternally inherited diabetes and deafness, and came as a big shock as i was originally diagnosed as having type 2. I visit the consultants at Wansbeck General hospital often and recieve great care and attention towards my condition. However, because MIDD is so rare doctors and consultants know little about it, This is the reason i am raising money. I want to give something back to diabetes UK and help them possibly find out more information regarding MIDD.

That is why i have stupidly decided to jump 10,000 feet out of a helicopter! I love anything like rollercoasters so thought a skydive would be best for me! I have to raise a minimum of £395 in order to complete the jump, fingers crossed this will be possible!
