Five years ago I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, an auto immune disease. It hurt to even walk. I went on a journey with various medications before finding one that worked and now, all this time later, I am regularly running long distances thanks to brilliant doctors and a fab and patient running pal (thanks Theo). 

Having recently become aware of the amazing work that Hospice in the Weald does, and has delivered especially during the pandemic, I thought who better to run for to raise much needed funds so that they can continue to deliver free end of life care to people surrounded by loved ones - which has been nigh on impossible during the pandemic.

Hospice in the Weald has stayed open throughout, thanks to the tireless efforts of the team and has been one of the only places in the UK where people can see out their final days in quality accommodation, free of charge and with their family and loved ones with them until the end. The difference this makes to patients and the families they leave behind is immeasurable.

Please donate, however little - literally every penny is a massive step forward. Don't be put off by the massive target - I'm just hoping some of my clients will dig deep :)  and if you cannot donate, please do not worry, just will me on and remember Hospice in the Weald for the future.
