Story
This page is to support Teenage Cancer Trust. My sister, Laura, was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma suddenly on March 8th 2011. Her life and the lives of everyone around her were instantly turned upside down. She is to undergo an intense 6 months chemotherapy course in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children and a likely extra period of Radiotherapy.
Teenage Cancer Trust aims to make the lives of Teenagers suffering from cancer as normal and easy as possible. Already, my sister has benefitted from a special ward equipped with a tv, sofa and plenty other things to keep her occupied and allow her to be as comfortable as possible while undergoing this uncomfortable proccess.
Teenage Caner Trust needs all the money they can get in order to build more, bigger and better wards like this one to allow more teenagers the help and support they need through a difficult time such as this.
She is writing an amazing blog called "Laura's Road to Recovery" that i would encourage everyone to read and follow! It truly is inspirational! You can find it here: http://laurasroadtorecovery.blogspot.com/
I have started this campaign to raise as much money as possible through events i will organise and kind donations to help the people that help my sister and i would hope that you could help me in this regard.
Thank You,
Cameron Gibson
