In July 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the Peak District Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

Macmillan provided so much fantastic support to my family during the final weeks of my Nannie's life. In particular during a meeting at the hospital my Nannie was in at the time to discuss her future care as we were being pressured by the hospital to make decisions quickly for them to "free up the bed" and Macmillan were with us every step of the way, supporting us all with care and compassion and helping to fight our corner to achieve the care my Nannie wanted and deserved.

I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
