If you know me, you know why I do this every year. I do it for my cousin, Christie. She is my inspiration. She has lived with cancer most of her life and her bravery inspires me and everyone who knows her. Running 5k is nothing compared to what she goes through on a daily basis but raising money for cancer research is so important, without research there will be no cure. 

Last year we also lost our lovely nan to cancer. She was a wonderful lady who was still smiling until the very end.
