Hi all,

OK, so I have done Race for Life a few times so this year decided to be a bit more specific in my cause!

I will be doing a duathlon with my good friend Abigail to raise money for 'Ovarian Cancer Action' on the 18th June 2011.

As many of you already know my mother lost a very long, brave fight to cancer back in '96 and so I would like to raise as much money as I can in her honour.

Awareness of Ovarian Cancer is very low in the UK yet is the 4th most common cause of death from cancer in women.

Ovarian Cancer kills 12 women every day in the UK.

Please support this cause to help make people more aware of the disease and to try and find a way of diagnosing the disease early enough to save lives.
