Story
I am a registered Veterinary nurse that started off my career as a Cat Care Assistant at Cats Protection Dereham Adoption Centre. I am owned by a Lakeland terrier called Millie and two rescue British Shorthairs called Butterscotch and Cheshire. I have a keen interest in feline behaviour and emergency/critical care nursing.
Cats Protection is close to my heart due to their wonderful commitment to rescuing and rehoming cats, providing education about cat health and welfare as well as carrying out neutering programmes. I am taking part in an 5 day trek through the rainforest and mountains of Madagascar in 2024 and am hoping to raise funds for my local adoption centre to help the cats and kittens in their care.
If you could donate towards a wonderful cause it would be greatly appreciated. I will be carrying out various fundraising activities prior to my trip including having a stall at Cats Protections @ Dereham Adoption Centre’s summer fete on Saturday 19th August 2023. I will keep you posted on things to come. (There may even be a sponsored silence which I’m sure all of my colleagues at Taverham Veterinary Hospital would be very pleased about!)
