Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support

Hello there! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
The fact that you have done means that either a) you have received an unavoidable hint from me to sponsor my attempt to run the Bath Half Marathon 2) are intrigued as to why I would want to 'run' a course which may prove a rather uncomfortable distance to amble or d) don't know me from Adam but are keen to find out about donating to Macmillan Cancer Support. If it is any or all of the above then you have come to the right place.
I started running a couple of years ago and since deciding to run to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support my training has begun with Rocky-esque aplomb (though with slightly fewer young children pitter-pattering after me up an identifiable landmark). Macmillan is a source of immense support for those affected by cancer. They providing the professional medical, emotional and financial care not only to people living with it, but also to their families and loved ones. It would be really appreciated if you were to sponsor me online, with whatever donation you would like to give.
Of course you're all invited to the race itself in Bath on the 25th March, which if you have put a quid on for my 'Guess my Finishing Time' game, would feel like a day out at The Dogs. Get in touch if you'd like to put a bet on this dog. The prize is yet to be decided but will obviously involve a general feeling of smugness if you are bang on with your estimation - anywhere between 1.20 (here's a clue though, Liz McColgen I ain't) and 3.11.
