In September 2021 my Father In-Law (Laura’s) sadly passed away. It was a massive loss to the family and he is greatly missed. During his time at home he was cared for by Mountbatten Hampshire who did an amazing job caring for him, which meant he could be at home in his own comforts.

I wanted to do something to raise money for Mountbatten Hampshire as a Thank You for their support to our family during this time and what better way then putting my hand up and going ‘oh yeah’ I could run a Half Marathon!! 

I couldn’t do this on my own so I asked my amazing friend Charlotte, who runs with me, to be by my side on the day and hope that we can make it to the end. 

All we ask is for a small donation. If we were to raise £200 this could give someone a day of personal care, helping them to remain in the comfort of their own home. Just like it did for my father in-law.
