London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·

We’re the 10 million people living with arthritis in the UK. The carers, researchers and healthcare professionals. The family, friends and fundraisers. United by a clear vision: a future free from arthritis. One in which no one is limited by the pain, fatigue and isolation that arthritis can cause.

Story

As some of you know I will be running the London Marathon in April, in memory of my nan who we sadly lost through arthritis.  My Nan and I had such a special relationship. There are so many memories that I hold close to my heart. Some of these included her sending me letters every week from Scotland, hanging flags & balloons outside her house and  a magic cupboard which was filled with surprises all for when I went to see her.  Dancing with me in the fallen leaves and shouting at Grampsie to push her wheelchair faster so we could make the shops for high heels. Most importantly she loved her family more than anything else and never wanted anyone to worry about her, even at the toughest time of her battle. We still miss her every day and that is why I want to raise as much money as possible not only in memory of my Nan but also for others who are continuing to battle with Arthritis.

Would be so grateful for any donation made and will be sure to keep you all posted on my training.

Thank you xx
