Story
Hello!
Five years ago my sister decided we would run the Edinburgh marathon for the Alzheimer's Society.
We swore we'd never do it again.
Well - we lied.
This time I'm doing it to celebrate the work of Cancer Research UK. A charity chosen by my mum. She hates the idea of me doing another marathon.
The thought of her two daughters dragging themselves around a 26.2 mile course, pounding the Berlin pavements for hours surrounded by thousands of sweaty Germans in lycra - well it leaves her cold.
But the truth is - if I'm going to run a marathon - I might as well have a good reason for it.
And she's given me a good reason.
So I'm running for Cancer Research UK to give a little something back and in celebration of all they do!
If you can help spur me on - please give what you can. And in return I will send you lots of pictures of Germans in lycra
Lots of love,
Laura
