Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering sponsoring me.
My name is Laura Ball, I'm 31 years old and I live in Warwick. I've taken up the challenge of running a Marathon this year (my first one!) and am traveling to Berlin to do it.
I wanted to run for a charity and the NSPCC was top of my list. I have two children and the thought of them coming to any harm brings tears to my eyes. I'm the first to admit I've seen the adverts on TV appealing for donations and thought to myself, I really should. Well, here goes.....all 26.2 miles of it.
Every penny raised will help children and young people who so desperately need someone to turn to.
Here's how your donations can help:
£12 could buy a tea set for a play session at an NSPCC family centre, helping mums and dads bond with their children.
£20 could pay for a special investigations services officer to conduct an interview.
£25 could pay for an 'expressive doll' for use in individual counselling.
£50 could pay for three calls from children and young people to Childline.
£100 could pay for a months treatment for a child traumatised by abuse.
Every donation helps!
Thank you.
