Story
Team Clitheroe have chosen the Ribble rivers trust as our local thanks for giving charity, we have also set ourselves the challenge of walking the entire length of the Ribble way over 7 days.
The Ribble way is a 73 mile footpath following the River Ribble from the estuary at Longton in Lancashire right to the source at Gavel Gap in the Yorkshire dales.
The money raised will help to fund tree planting with volunteers this winter, we are also rolling up our sleeves and pulling on our wellies to help with this too! the trees will provide vital habitat for river wildlife, reduce the amount of pollution that gets washed into rivers and help to slow the flow of water during periods of heavy rainfall.
