Story

As a family we are raising money for St Leonard’s Hospice who cared for my Grandad in his final days. “I can feel a fundraising marathon coming on” were the words uttered by Uncle G back in September when we all agreed we wanted to do something to support the hospice and remember Grandad.

Uncle G took on London marathon in April followed shortly by my cousin Amy running a ridiculous ultramarathon in May on what would have been Grandads 90th birthday. The time has now come for me to take the baton and run York marathon in October.

Any donations that you can spare would mean so much to our family and will keep up the motivation to continue with this hellish training!!
