I know it’s a cliche but Caring matters now really is a charity that it is close to my heart! 

As many of my friends and family will already know my beautiful son Alfie was born with a very rare genetic condition - CMN. (Congenital Melanocytic Naevi) To most this is thought to be just a birthmark but CMN affects Alfies day to day life in so many ways. Alfie faces this with a smile on his face, never complains and never fails to make me so proud of everything he has achieved! 

Caring matters now is a fantastic charity that are currently conducting research into CMN. Our visits to Great Ormond Street Hospital to meet Dr Veronica Kinsler gave us answers to so many unanswered questions. Not only that they are constantly raising awareness and supporting families affected by CMN.
