Story
7 girls, 3 peaks, 24 hours, 10,000 ft, 25 miles, it all sounded so fun and exciting when we decided to do it after a few gins! On 29th June, at 8am we do this - starting with Ben Nevis, then on to Scafell Pike (supposedly the worst one) and finishing off with Snowdon (yes that's Scotland, Yorkshire and Wales in 24 hours). How hard can it be right? 25 miles of walking with over 10,000 feet of elevation, mixed with sleep deprivation and 480 miles of travelling in between... well it's happening now so lets do this!!!
We have all chosen charities that mean a lot so here's a little bit more on mine and why I'm doing this crazy challenge:
Garden House Hospice Care provides specialist palliative care for patients, families and carers facing life limiting illnesses, to enable them to have the best possible quality of life at the end of life. My incredible Nan spent her last month at Garden House and the team were truly amazing!!! Considering it was such a sad time, as a family we have some lovely memories and the team couldn't have done more for my Nan but also supported us through it all. It's a truly wonderful place and I am excited to raise money for such an awesome cause <3
So your support, as well as my lovely 6 trekking warriors, will get me through this, knowing the difference we can make for this fabulous charity will make it so much easier!!!
Thank you for taking the time to read this and please donate anything you can, it will be really appreciated :)
