Story
Those who know me will know that I recently took on a half marathon in aid of The Trust. The good news is, I survived, with just a few blisters and very achey legs! I'm now taking on the challenge of trekking 90 km over 8 days through Vietnam representing The Trust.
I'll be faced with up to 8 hours trekking a day with a weighty rucksack (I'm only 5"2!), a variety of hills and crickets, ants and various creepy crawlies in my makeshift bed.
I'll be first up in the morning and last to bed at night - number one cheerleader for 16 amazing women who are taking on the challenge together to raise over £80,000.
All funds you donate will go straight to The Trust and will make a huge difference to young people across the UK who may have faced homelessness, mental health problems, or just lack the support at home that many of us take for granted.
We're not a medical research charity. We don't work in war zones or feed the starving and poor. But we do save lives. We re-caputre potential, give hope to those who have lost theirs after a lifetime of being let down. We breathe new life into the next generation and break a cycle of poverty and helplessness.
Please give generously to give young people the chance they deserve to succeed.
