Story
As most of you may no, we recently lost a much loved family member in her battle with cancer. This brought a great amount of pain and grief on our family.
Whilst at the Marie Curie Hospice in newcastle, my aunty was given round the clock care, help and support from all of the staff. Even at her lowest points they still managed to put a smile on her face, giving her make-overs and just generally caring for her.
On the lead up to her death, all of the staff were highly supportive to all of our family, guding us through what was going to be the most hardest time in our life. Without them, i don't think we could have coped with Ann's death and its to all of those staff that we owe a massive amount of praise to. We thank you for everything you have done.
Help Marie Curie Nurses care for more terminally ill people and their families.
I'm taking part in Walk Ten Tyne and Wear at Gibside to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Please sponsor me and help Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to more people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes or in one of their hospices across the UK.
£20 provides 1 hour of Marie Curie nursing care, but whatever you can give will help terminally ill people and their families when they need it most.
Thank you for your support.
