In a shocking turn of events...I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on October 8th 2023 - and all for a very important cause close to my heart. It's estimated that 1/5 pregnancies in the UK end in miscarriage and there's still so much taboo around the topic. When I was offered the opportunity to put my poor knees through hell for a charity seeking to make huge changes, I couldn't say no. Please keep reading to learn where your donations are going:

Tommy's are a pregnancy charity working to make the UK the safest place in the world to give birth, supported by people who refuse to accept that a baby's death is just 'one of those things'. The people who support Tommy's want to do something about the lack of research and information around pregnancy issues. Tommy's believe every parent has the right to a healthy pregnancy and baby.

What Tommy's do:
-  They fund pioneering research to identify why pregnancy goes wrong, which helps us to understand how we can prevent complications and loss, as well as enabling specialist care for people at their clinics, research centres and across the NHS.
- Tommy's provide expert, midwife-led advice for parents before, during and after pregnancy, working together towards safer, healthier pregnancies.
- Foster a connected, caring community, united in their goal to make pregnancy safer for all and advocating for and supporting those who have lost babies.

Your donations go towards funding vital research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, so we can keep saving babies’ lives. Each donation takes us one step closer.
