Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As retired members of Dingwall swimming club myself , Ewan, Kim(my brother and sister ) ,Lucy , Alison and i are taking on the challenge of swimming the length of loch Ness in Relay form (approx 24 miles!).The swim is in memory of my mum who sadly died a few years ago.Mum also  coached us all at swimming .

We have chosen to do the swim in aid of the Highland Hospice where my mum worked for years as a nurse,i know it meant a lot to her  .The Hospice was also a support to us and mum during the later stages of her illness. I know if she was about today she would definatley be joining us in the water!

We cant set an exact date for the swim due to the weather but we are aiming for one of the last 2 weekends in August .We start at Fort Augustus and finish at loch end (then to the dores inn!) Hopefully nessie wont catch us!

Thanks very much for your support ,

Laura
