At our 20 week scan we were told that our little baby had a serious heart condition and was diagnosed with Coarctation of the Aorta. We were told that Toby would need surgery soon after birth and at 6 days old Toby had his open heart surgery. We are very lucky that since his operation Toby has been very well and is now a very cheeky 20 month old 😊. We are raising money for ECHO because they supported us and continue to support children, parents and families within the CHD community.

ECHO supports children and young people with heart conditions and their families, who’ve been treated by Evelina London and its network hospitals across the UK. Families are supported at every stage of their heart child’s journey from the moment of diagnosis through childhood, teenage years and during the transition to adult services. ECHO provides practical and emotional support and welcomes families into a community of shared experience and understanding, at times when there is little other help available.
