Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page,
As many of you will know my Auntie Gill and I will be undertaking the London to Brighton Cycle challenge on the 18th June this year. This is a 54-mile ride and will be no easy feat! This will be our first long distance ride and to say I’m nervous is an understatement, but it will all be worth it as we are raising money for the incredible Sands charity!
Sands does amazing and important work by supporting anyone who has been affected by pregnancy loss and the death of a child. They work hard to offer care to parents after the loss of a child, do loads of important research as to why babies die during or after childbirth and campaign to reduce inequalities across the healthcare system. This charity is close to our hearts because we both know how important this charity is to people when they are dealing with such tragic sadness, that friends and family can’t help with, and we were keen to support SANDS in our challenge.
We are training hard everyday to make sure we are up to the challenge. With your support we will hit our target of raise over £700 for Sands, all of which will go directly to the charity to support their important mission.
So, if you can spare whatever you can afford to help motivate us on our journey, we will both be incredibly thankful, and I promise we will make you all proud!
With love,
Laura & Gill
