Raising money how?

By dashing through the snow (rain) in a one horse open sleigh (on foot), through the icy chills of Lapland (Heaton Park), dressed in state of the art running gear (a Santa suit).

What's the cause?

Mencap's 'Inspire Me' project provides practical activities and support for young people with learning disabilities to build confidence and help get them started in life. One important part of this is changing attitudes towards learning disabilities.

Why sponsor me?

* Because i've signed up with less than 2 weeks to prepare so need encouragement!

* Because my hatred for fancy dress is well-documented and rarely overcome - and think how much I'll 'enjoy' sharing the finish line photo...

* Because Mencap's Inspire Me is doing great work for young people across the UK and deserves masses of support.
