Memory Walk
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year over 110,000 people walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help to raise over £9 million to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

As some of you know my Dad died earlier this year. Dad had early onset Alzheimer's dementia. His Mum, our Granny, also had early onset Alzheimer's. Dementia increasingly affected Dad for about the last 10 years of his life. It was quite a battle getting my Dad diagnosed and therefore to get the medication that can help slow the progress of the disease. My brother and I are doing the Memory Walk with our family and friends to help raise money for dementia research so that people can get better and earlier diagnosis, as well as access to good support. I know you are often asked for money for all sorts of things but dementia really is something that is likely to affect us all in one way or another, if you would like to make a donation, we would be very grateful.
