Here I go again, feels as though its been a while since my last charity challenge, but I am ready and raring to raise some more money for the Alzheimer's Society.

This will be my 7th year and 6th fundraising challenge... and I'm doing it for the same reason I always do... because I can.

Their is a lot to be said for your health, happiness and wealth, and the opportunities they present. Its not until something is taken away and you need to lean on the support of others, you realise how lucky you are. 

This next opportunity is going to take me to the Atlas Mountains in Morocco,  I'll be trekking 4,167m up the Jebel Toubkal, which is the highest mountain in North Africa. An experience I couldn't say no to. And although I'll have a fantastic team around me, it will be long tough days of up to 9 hours walking.   

So as I push through the sweat, tears and tantrums all I would like from you is your support. I am funding the trip myself, so any donations you make via JustGiving will go directly to the charity and will be match by M&S Bank. This funding could help support a family in the same way we were supported less than 2 years ago.

I am a proud Dementia friend and hope to help fund the role of a much needed Dementia Advocate on Merseyside. Anything you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
