Story
In June, my beautiful Mum died from the horror that is Multiple Myeloma (cancer of the white blood cells in the bone marrow). I lost my best friend and soulmate and the world lost the most kind, loving person I have ever met. As a family, we have seen what this disease does - and it's a terrible, vicious thing. She died without ever seeing me and Meg get married, have children, graduate, or find our forever jobs. She died before she and my Dad could grow old together. Her life was cut far too short and we want to help others with this disease by raising money in her memory.
So, David and I are running a half marathon in memory of our lovely mum/stepmum to raise money for Myeloma UK. We must be bloody mad. But we are doing it for her! Please donate as little or as much as you want, everything helps!
