Story
Cystic Fibrosis is one of the UK’s most common life-threatening inherited diseases affecting over 9,000 people in the UK. Cystic Fibrosis affects the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, by clogging them with thick sticky mucus. This makes it hard to breathe and digest food.
It is a charity very close to my heart as my sister and brother both have cystic fibrosis, but it never deters them from anything they want to achieve in life. They are a great inspiration to me, and everyone who knows them as they continue to push the barriers and live life to the fullest despite a gruelling daily regime of physio and medication.
Donating to the Cystic Fibrosis trust is a great cause. So I will be doing my bit with family and friends to help raise money for CF Week 2011 by climbing Mount Snowdon. Funding will help the Cystic Fibrosis trust continue with its vital work in three key areas: funding research, improving clinical care and providing information, advice and support to individuals and families living with Cystic Fibrosis.
Every donation will be much appreciated!
