Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My mum very sadly passed away in January this year after suffering from cancer. In memory of her and in support of MacMillan I am participating in a 15 mile sponsored horse ride round the vale of Belvoir on 15th April 2012.
Any donations regardless of size would be greatly appreciated.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for all their support over the last 8 months xxx
Update: The ride around the Vale of Belvoir on Sunday went very well, albeit it a little cold, at least the rain held off!
We completed the ride in 2 hour 45 minutes.
There was only one eventful moment along the ride to report.
This occurred along the home stretch, where we somehow ended up amidst a baby Grand National with horses galloping along uncontrollably.
A little grey, who must have thought he was Neptune Collonges, came flying along the outside, causing a bit of a stampede!!
Luckily we had no fallers, unlike the real race on Saturday.
I would like to thank everybody who has sponsored me; I was able to donate a massive £650 on the day and collected the trophy for raising the most sponsorship.
