Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am planning to run the Big Fun Run in October, to raise money for Parkinsons UK.

My Grandad sadly passed away last November, after battling Parkinsons and Lewy Body Dementia. My family and I looked after him from his diagnosis 10 years ago. The hardest thing for me was watching him losing his independence. As many know, my Grandad was a big part of my life and I hated to see him suffer.

I have always wanted to raise awareness from this difficult and incurable condition and so I have decided to run.
I have never been a good runner, so this will be a challenge for me. But I am proud to run for my Grandad and for the awareness of Parkinsons disease.
