Story

HI everyone...... For those who dont know, since Amber was born in April 2009, I have been growing my hair.

I have been growing it to have it cut around about Ambers 4 birthday, to donate to The Little Princess Trust, a wonderful orgnaisation who use donated hair to make wigs for little boys and girls who have lost their hair to cancer and other illness's, such as alopecia.

As you can see from the pick it is now below my waist and so I am aiming to have about 12 inches cut off to give to the Trust.  As well as needing hair donations, the Trust needs financial contributions as it costs anything between £300 and £2000 to make a wig for a child suffering from cancer.  The Trust never charge the children or parents for the wigs, so financial support is very important as well as the need for the hair.

I know it feels like every week people are asked to donate to charity, but even if it is just £1, it would be brilliant to get to, (or maybe exceed) the target of £300.  I am asking people I know, colleagues and allsorts to donate in the hope of hitting my target.

Thank you so much if you are able to give. I will post a pick after the chop...... please note there will be no shaven heads!  L xxx
