In June 2013, I will be spending a month in Uganda with a group of East African Playgrounds' volunteers to build a playground for young African school children. As well as this, the trip will involve helping these children with exciting and creative activities such as art and sports. This project is really important in giving these children all that they deserve and a chance to get their local community together for a great cause!
All of the money I raise will go directly to the charity in order to provide the materials and resources required for building the playground. To give you an idea, £10 buys 7 tires, £25 buys 3 bags of cement, £50 buys a tire den or pyramid and £100 buys a seesaw.
