It's time to Glow Green, and mark World Cancer Day 2022! A new event, Glow Green will take you on a fantastic walk around Liverpool City Centre, taking in views of some of the most iconic landmarks including our new Hospital and many more!

Story

Cancer, such a horrible word. But sadly right now a reality for some. It affects all of us at some point. Be a patient, or that Relative. Sometimes loved ones make and some don't.  It's time to Glow Green, New for 2022.

I have lost many over the years. Like many of you reading this. For me I'm completing those walk in honour of Uncle Alan, Grandad George, Auntie Ann, Pat Stephens,Uncle Ronnie,Nanny Barb Auntie Evelyn, Phil Hunter Jones. He was my boss but most of all a friend and like an uncle to me. He was important to me like all the others. As he was a Scouser, and the Walk is in Liverpool. Seems important that I name drop Phil. If I didn't he may hear his used phrase of how rude! Haha.

As well as all of the above who lost their lives I'd like to dedicate it to people I know fighting it and those who are in remission. Raising awareness and fighting this nasty disease is so important. As It should not be around, but as it still here. We must figh fight fight.  An keep trying  to eliminate it. Glow Green, fight the disease, its nasty and mean.
