Story
I am raising money for BIBIC. They are a charity that support children with learning disabilities and additional needs caused by conditions affecting the brain.
Lewis is 4 years old and has Sturge-Weber syndrome, Global Developmental delay and Autism. He is on medication to control seizures and he has a weak right side (like a mild stroke effect). He can walk but has to wear a splint to help support his leg. He is non verbal and has learning difficulties. He is a happy little chap and always has a smile on his face.
BIBIC offer a 2 day assessment tailor made to suit your child. They make a 6 month programme made up of physio, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy. We feel Lewis would greatly benefit from BIBIC to go alongside his local services to help him progress. The assessment costs £378. We have got the assessment booked for 16th & 17th March.
As an extra incentive to donate, I am running the Yeovil Half Marathon on 29th March (crazy I know)!
Any donations will be gratefully received.
Thank you xxxx
