TLC was set up in 1993 by the incredible Thea Jarvis and her family, who opened their home to abandoned and orphaned babies in South Africa. Since it began TLC has cared for over 800 babies, many of whom have been either reunited with their biological family or adopted by their forever family.

Last summer I spent 6 weeks volunteering at TLC and was overwhelmed by the incredible work they do and the unconditional love they show each and every child. Because of this Sarah and I have decided to try and raise a little money to help them out – think how much 1 baby costs and then times that by 800!
