Story
I had just finished watching 127 hours while gripping my ice cream tub, when coincidentally the advert for a 3 day hike across the Alps popped up on my facebook timeline...so of COURSE I thought that was absolutely something I needed to look into trying!
I signed up to do this trek initially as a personal challenge: since I get out of breath running up stairs, I felt that this was well within my capabilities...my future capabilities...so I decided it was something I wanted to work towards being ready for! I'll keep my progress logged on the upcoming blog, which will be published on my facebook page when it is launched (within the next few weeks!)
I also wanted to challenge myself in being able to raise the funds necessary for the trip to happen and the charity to receive. This will require a lot of groundwork which I'm really excited to be putting into action!
I will update a blog that will log all of my activities, which are so far as follow: Visit to the Cats Protection Derby Adoption Centre (where my funds will help), University Pub Quiz, Raffles, Bake Sales, Snowdon Trek and many more events in the pipeworks before the big adventure in September.
Any amount, no matter how small, would be absolutely incredible! I would love for you to join me on this adventure!
Thank you so much for visiting my page!!🥰🐱
