Hi there, thanks for visiting! Like so many others, I have friends and family who have been diagnosed with cancer. Last year we lost our mum to the disease after she had been battling it for several years, and I still feel the loss as keenly as the day I had to say goodbye.

But she was so strong, and always fought for what she believed in. In taking part in the Dryathlon I hope to be able to emulate her strength (and I do have a soft spot for drink, so it will definitely be needed!) and to help raise money for a cause I truly believe in - to bring an end to all cancers sooner!

So for Mumsy, and for all others whose lives were cut short by this horrible disease, please give whatever you can spare. It's greatly appreciated!
