As some of you may know, in February of this year I spent some time in Ethiopia with Project Harar, where alongside a team of surgeons, anaesthetists, dietitians and fellow nurses, I worked with local teams to provide complex surgery for patients with facial injuries and abnormalities. 

In March of next year I will be heading back out to Ethiopia to continue the good work of the charity. We will be aiming to treat more patients than ever and provide them with life changing procedures, offering them a chance to re - intergrate with a society in which has so often ostracised them.
