September 2022 marks the beginning of our challenging 15 day expedition to Mount Everest Base Camp. On the 1st of September, we will be flying to Kathmandu to take on the challenge of trekking to Mt Everest Base Camp in aid of the National Autistic Society! 

The challenge involves trekking for 11 days, covering approximately 112km and reaching heights of 5545m above sea level. This is unlike anything we have both ever done before; it will be an incredible opportunity which will be challenging both physically and mentally.

Over the coming months, we will be raising money and awareness for a charity that is close to our hearts! Autism is a lifelong developmental disability which affects how people communicate and interact with the world. One in 100 people are on the autism spectrum and there are around 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK.

The National Autistic Society helps support individuals with Autism and their families. The charity has dedicated helplines offering advice and guidance, as well as local branches with incredible volunteers. The charity sets up support groups for autistic people to help combat loneliness and isolation as well as coaching autistic adults into paid employment. Additionally, they campaign for the rights and interests of people with Autism and collaborate with researchers to help improve understanding of the condition.

Our page donations will be sent direct to the charity in a fast and secure way. Its efficient, saves time and cuts costs for the charity. Together we would love to raise the incredible amount of £6,780 to support such an amazing cause, any donations would be greatly appreciated!
