So on June 3rd I myself will be taking part in this years Womans mini marathon. The charity I have chosen to support and hopefully raise much needed funds is the IRISH CANCER SOCIETY. 

Cancer Statistics:

Every 3 minutes in Ireland someone gets a cancer diagnosis. Every hour someone dies from cancer. Incidence of cancer is growing and by 2020, 1 in 2 of us will get a cancer diagnosis in our lifetime.

In October 2017 my mum was diagnosed with cancer and she’s been fighting every day since she was giving the dreaded news and is still currently fighting this horrible disease . You hear a lot about cancer but you never think  it will affect anyone you know and when it’s someone you love it affects you so much. My mum has been so brave this past 7 months and that is why I want to brave through this 10k run. 

So this year I am running for my mum I will fight through it just like she is fighting through her cancer fight ❤️❤️
