Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please read my story below and any amount no matter how small or big will make a difference.
As many of you may or may not know my family and my world was turned upside down on the morning of Saturday 31st October 2015 when my wee daddy was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Trying to be positive I firmly believed that daddy would get better and we'd have him home again in no time but that wasn't to be the case and after a short battle we had to let go of daddy exactly 2weeks later on the morning of Saturday 14th November 2015. Those weeks and that day I often replay over and over in my mind. Devastated is an understatement. So to keep his memory alive and to give back to a charity that will hopefully find treatment that will save someone like daddy some day I have decided to run Dublin marathon in October. I will be running lots of others between now and then including Belfast City Marathon, Omagh half marathon, Larne half marathon & Carlingford half marathon to name but a few. I have also now secured a place in the Great North Run in September. Hopefully you can donate no matter what the amount and one day a family like us will have more time with there loved ones than we did. Thank you for taking the time to read.xx ❤
