The day our baby boy arrived into the world with a bang! He had breathing difficulties and was rushed off to special care. Tiny Lives were there to support us from the moment we walked on the ward. They watched our baby breath, helped him eat, taught us how to feed him through his tube, kept him warm in his incubator - all alongside holding our hands, watching me cry (so many) tears, talked us through the hard times, celebrated the good times, and so much more!
Since then we have been to baby classes with other Tiny Lives babies, read the books we were given for him, and we still sleep with our miniboo.
For doing so much for our family, I am honored to be running my fourth half marathon in aid of Tiny Lives, so they can continue to work and support so many more poorly babies.
Elmer Wilbur Clack. Our little fighter. Changed our lives, added to our amazing family, and made so many friends on Ward 35. Thank you Tiny Lives... see you on the finish line xxx
