Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
2 years ago my wonderful Dad was diagnosed with MND, he had a very progressive form of the disease and went from being fit and healthy to sadly passing away within 6 months. I had the priviledge of helping to care for him alongside my family during this time, and was constatnly positive throughout unimaginable challnenges. I am extremely proud of him.
Since then I have vowed that I would continue to do all I could do support those battling this horrendous disease, and would not let my Dads battle be in vain, there is still work to do!
For those that know me you'll know that I AM NOT A RUNNER, I'm not built for running it seems, however I'd like to be a person that runs! I have challenged myself to train for the York 10k which is in August and does not feel far away enough.
I know money is difficult for everyone right now, but please know that I appreciate every £1 donated, knowing that it is going directly to help those effected by MND and their loved ones... and trust me it will help me to continue to put one foot infront of the other.
