Ripple Effect is creating a wave of change in rural Africa. Our farmers learn, grow and sell more, releasing the potential in their land and lives. Then they pass the knowledge on, creating a wave of change across rural Africa.

Story

Hi there dear friends/family/colleagues...

In just under 3 weeks I will be running the Hackney Half Marathon...my second 'official' run after last summer's London 10K in aid of CentrePoint.

This year I'm taking it up a notch giving myself approximately half the amount of time to train* and doing double the distance...plus an extra K for good measure. Sure. Pourquoi pas. Well then...Roll on the good times!

This time I am  raising in aid of Send A Cow, an international development charity providing training and support to Cameroonian, Zambian & East African farmer families, so that they may develop sustainable self-sufficient farming practices ensuring food security, as well as working towards a number of other Millennium Development Goals such as accessible education. For more info on what Send A Cow do , visit their website: www.sendacow.org.uk/our-work

Thank you for the support!!

Laura
