After nearly 40 years as a veterinary surgeon, and 30 years at Hall Place Veterinary Centre,I am retiring. I need a challenge to fill the space and loved to sail in my thirties, the worse the weather the better! Crossing the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans will definitely come into this category as I head from Australia back to the UK via China and the USA. Even more dauntingly I hadn’t set foot on a yacht for 25 years when I started my training.

If I can inspire people to follow my progress and to donate to a great cause it will make the difficult times all the more worthwhile. Isabella's father was a passionate sailor and very proactive within the UN and this, to a degree, is in his memory.
