We brighten the lives of children who are living with serious or life-limiting illnesses, between the ages of 3-18, across the United Kingdom by granting their wish and supporting them in hospitals and hospices.

Story

Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity exists to fulfil the wishes of children, between the ages of 3-18 in the UK, of any race or gender who are terminally or seriously ill.

It also buys equipment for these children and support the hospices, hospitals and specialist schools that care for them. The charity brightens the lives of these children and their families by granting wishes and providing ongoing support.

Rays of Sunshine believes that every child deserves to experience happiness and put their illness on hold, even if it is just for one day. Their work provides a positive distraction, reduces isolation, improves self-esteem and creates precious memories and smiles. Please visit the link below to learn more:

I’m not just running London Marathon. I will be attempting to set a Guiness World Record for being the first ever woman to run a full marathon, with a fridge on her back! The fridge will weigh approximately 25-30kg and I will wear it on my back every single step of the way.

Skip the coffee tomorrow morning, have one less beer at the weekend and give a couple of pennies to this incredible charity. Thank you so much.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
